Keeper of the Gold - The Introduction

Growing up in the Ohio Valley, fraternal twins Roxie and Colleen Cleary had a typical childhood, until the day they saw elves in the woods and pinky-swore they would never tell anyone their secret. But life has a way of revealing secrets… Nearly thirty years later, an unexpected death in the family sends them back to their hometown, and for Roxie, to her high school sweetheart, Brian Goodman. 
 
Through an unfortunate series of events, Roxie meets Jake Sterling, who convinces her that she and her twin are the heir and the spare to the Keeper of the Gold position in the Celtic Preservation Society, a secret society that protects the Celtic realm and all its folklore characters. Nearly 100 years earlier, the gold was stolen and brought into the mortal world. Having reclaimed the gold, but unable to find a porta to return itl, her great-grandfather, Patrick, hid clues to find it throughout the Ohio Valley… then died. 
 
Since then, no one in Roxie’s direct descendancy has been able to find the gold, or the portal. Throughout the quest, they decipher clues using GPS coordinates and riddles, and uncover an underworld of crime so deep that their very lives are threatened. Locating the gold, figuring out how to open the portal, and returning it to the pot at the end of the rainbow will finally afford them and the Celtic realm, security, resolution and peace. But can they do it before the 100-year deadline?
